Sources and method

How CEEVO collects the news of Val-d'Oise local authorities every day: sources, what is reproduced, topic classification, removal requests.

How this feed is built

Every day, an identified robot (“Implantation95-Veille”) reads the RSS feed or the news page of each local authority's official website. It sends one request at a time per site and never bypasses a protection.

For each article, only the headline, the date, a short quotation from the description and the illustration provided by the local authority are reproduced, with a link to the original article. The text of the articles is never copied.

Topics are assigned by keyword rules, with no automated writing or summarising. An article deleted by its local authority disappears from this feed.
